Patients on regular medication will require repeat prescriptions and for a safer and speedier service repeat prescriptions are now computerised. Please allow 48 hours for your repeat prescription to be processed. (Bank holidays and weekends not included).
We are not able to issue repeat prescriptions at weekends, on public holidays or out of normal surgery hours. Due to the large number of requests we process each day and the increased risk of making mistakes, we are also unable to take orders for repeat prescriptions over the telephone.
If you are experiencing issues with Patient Access and need help please read the following page http://patient.uservoice.com/knowledgebase for Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s) as the practice will only be able to issue you with your login details and cannot provide support for how to use these services we also cannot guarantee that the Patient Access service will always be 100% functional as they are outside of control of the practice, the services are hosted securely to NHS and government standards and supplied by our medicals systems provider E-MIS. In these cases you can always choose to use another method to submit your repeat prescriptions or to book appointments.
If the Patient Access site is unavailable you can check http://www.emis-online.com/EmisAccessStatus.aspx for current service status (both of the links provided are available on the main Patient Access login page and are also provided by E-MIS.
